Shapes and contrasting colours found in our natural landscape are some
of the elements that set a painting in motion. Gathering information,
as quick sketches, a photograph or in my mind, I collate what I feel to
be relevant.
I paint on Canvas using mostly acrylic paint, but also adding inks, pencil
and crayon. I enjoy the process of building up layers finding depth and
texture, sometimes getting further away from the original idea and
relying purely on what I can recollect. The finished piece ends as a
simplified visual memory of what was the original attraction.
Morag's paintings range from £120 - £250, I also have limited edition prints available priced at £55 each.
