What's On!

Artist in the Spotlight...

Beginning Sat 9th April

Returning to the gallery with new work is;

Painter Doreen Bothwell

Doreen worked as a Cartographic Drafter for 25 years before entering Gray's School of Art in 1994 in which she graduated from Fine art drawing and painting in 1999.
Since then she has continued to work as an artists as well as an art tutor.

Her work mostly focuses on contemporary landscapes with the titles being dedicated to the songs and lyrics of music from the sixties.
She's recently moved into floral imagery and seascapes with titles inspired by our native dialect Doric.

Doreen's work will be supported by a selection of new work from some of our regular artists such as printmakers Suzie Mackenzie and Karen Castle Anderson.

We also have new jewellery pieces form Hazey Designs, illustrative pieces from Doodle Monkey and are fully stocked again with pieces from Watergaw ceramics.
